HTET Notification 2024 has been released on 1st November 2024 at the official website http://www.bseh.org.in/ and the HTET Online Form will be available at https://htetonline.com/ from 4th November 2024 onwards. The Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) is going to conduct the Haryana Teacher’s Eligibility Test (HTET 2024) for the selection of eligible candidates for the posts of Primary Teachers, Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), and Post-Graduate Teachers (PGT). These selected candidates will be appointed in the government schools of Haryana. The HTET Exam 2024 for the candidates will be conducted on two consecutive days i.e. 7th & 8th December 2024.

HTET Notification 2024 Highlights

The Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test is a state-level exam conducted once a year for the recruitment of candidates for Level 1, 2 and 3 teachers in government-affiliated schools of Haryana. Those who successfully pass this exam are issued with HTET Certificate 2024 with a lifetime validity.

HTET Exam Date 2024 Out

The Board of School Education, Haryana has announced the HTET Exam Date 2024, this state-level exam will be conducted on 7th & 8th December 2024. HTET Level 3 exam (PGT Teacher) will be conducted on the first day of the exam from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm. HTET Level 2 (TGT Teacher), and Level 1 exam (PRT) on the second day from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm, and 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm.

As the dates for the online registration for the HTET 2024 exam have been declared, candidates must note that the registration for the Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test-2024 will start on 4th November 2024 and continue till 14th November 2024.

HTET Application Form 2024

The link to fill out the online application form for the Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test will be made available at https://htetonline.com/ on 4th November 2024. Candidates must note the delay in the form-filling process and submit the application form before the last date ends. HTET Exam 2024 Application Fees

To fill out the HTET Application Form 2024, candidates have to submit an examination/application fee as per their respective categories and the teacher’s posts for which they are applying. It must be noted that authorities will not accept any application without a fee.

HTET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The Board of School Education, Haryana has laid down a few parameters for determining the candidate’s eligibility for Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test 2024. Fulfilling these eligibility parameters is necessary to appear for this teacher’s eligibility test in Haryana. The eligibility parameters are age, and qualifications and are discussed in detail below.

Age Limit

The candidates falling between the age group of 18 to 38 years are eligible for PRT, TGT, and PGT posts. If any candidate who does not fall in this age limit becomes ineligible for HTET 2024 exam.

Minimum Age:- 18 years
Maximum Age:- 38 years

Educational Qualifications

It is mandatory to possess the prescribed post-specific qualifications to appear for the HTET Exam 2024. Candidates must also keep in mind that they are required to attach the necessary documents along with the HTET Application Form 2024 supporting their qualification claims. The post-wise educational qualifications are as follows.

Primary Teachers (PRT)

To become a primary teacher in the government schools of Haryana, candidates must fulfill either of the below-mentioned qualifications.

• Those who have passed 10+2 Intermediate with 50% Marks and passed/ appearing 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education/ Special Education/ B.E.Ed are eligible.
• Candidates who have passed 10+2 intermediate with 45% Marks And Passed/ Appearing 2 Year Diploma in Elementary Education/ Special Education/ B.E.Ed are also eligible.
• Those having a bachelor’s degree in any stream and passed/ appearing 2 Year Diploma in Elementary Education / Special Education/ B.E.E can apply for PRT posts.

Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT)

To become a TGT at a government-affiliated school in Haryana, fulfilling some of the basic qualifications requirements are necessary. Candidates fulfilling either of these requirements is eligible.

• Those who have a Bachelor’s Degree in Any Stream With 50% Marks and 2 2-year diploma in Elementary Education can apply for the level 2 exam.
• Candidates Bachelor’s Degree with 50% Marks and B Ed/ Special B Ed Degree are eligible
• 10+2 With 50% Marks and 4 years BA B Ed/ B.Com B Ed Degree

Post-Graduate Teachers (PGT)

To become eligible for post-graduate teacher’s posts, candidates must have done their master’s Degree in Concerned Subjects with 50% marks and B Ed Degree.

HTET 2024 Exam Pattern

The Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test (Levels 1, 2, and 3) will be conducted for various subjects consisting of 150 MCQs for a total of 150 marks. All the candidates who have to appear in HTET Exam 2024 must refer to the detailed exam pattern mentioned below to get an idea about the exam scheme which helps in better preparation.

• Number of Questions:- 150 each
• Total Marks:- 150
• Duration:- 2 hours 30 minutes
• Medium of Exam:- Bilingual (English & Hindi)

Primary Teacher (Level 1 Exam)

The level 1 exam of the Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test is conducted for the selection of candidates for primary teachers posts for classes Ist to Vth. HTET Level 1 Exam 2024 will be conducted for 150 marks consisting of 150 MCQs.

TGT & PGT(Level 2, 3 Exam)

HTET 2024 Salary

The salary structure of HTET 2024 differs based on the posts and exam levels. HTET 2024 Certificate Validity

The qualified candidates will receive an HTET Certificate. Earlier, the validity of the HTET Certificate is 7 years.  Earlier HTET validity was extended by the Ministry of Education from 7 years to life with retrospective effect from 2011. However, from now the HTET Certificate Validity has again been decreased to 7 years.
