1. First of all, open the official website of the Haryana Staff Selection Commission i.e. https://hssc.gov.in/.

4. Read out all the instructions and then click on the “Proceed Button” after ticking the box.
5. On the next page, enter your CTET Registration Number, and then tap on “Check Registration Details”.
6. You are redirected to the login page. Here, enter your login ID and password generated at the time of the Common Eligibility Test.

As per the new Haryana Police Constable Notification 2024, some basic eligibility parameters are necessary to be fulfilled by the candidates to become eligible for the Haryana Police Constable Vacancy 2024. HSSC considers candidate’s age and qualifications to determine their eligibility for the released posts.

Age Limit (As on 1st September 2024)

Those who are between 18 to 25 years of age as on 1st September 2024 are eligible to apply for the recent Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 2024. However, the candidates belonging to SC/Backward/EWS categories are provided 5 years of age relaxations in the upper age limit for Constable posts in the Haryana Police Department.

Educational Qualifications

If the candidate wants to be hired as a male or female Constable in the Haryana Police Department, then he must possess any of the below-mentioned qualifications.

• The candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized education Board/Institution.
• Those who have done their matric with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects are also eligible.

Note: No extra weightage will be given to the candidate for higher education.

Haryana Police Constable Selection Process 2024

As a large number of vacancies are announced for Constables posts through Haryana Police Recruitment 2024 notification, HSSC has decided to follow a proper selection process to fill the vacant posts. The candidate’s selection will be based on three stage-that involves:-

• Preparation of merit list based on the marks obtained by candidates in the Common Eligibility Test (CET).
• Shortlisted candidates then have to appear for the physical measurement test (PMT).
• Those who successfully clear PMT, are shortlisted for a physical screening test (PST) to evaluate the candidate’s fitness.
• The final stage is a Knowledge test, in this stage, shortlisted candidates are supposed to appear for an OMR-based examination of 94.5 marks.

Haryana Police Recruitment 2024 Exam Pattern

As the selection process for Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 2024 includes various stages, exam patterns for these stages also vary. So, the candidates must be well aware of the pattern and details of every stage that help them get an idea about the upcoming exam or test.

Exam Pattern for Physical Screening Test (PST)

Candidates who qualify for the physical measurement test appear for the PST round. At this stage, the candidate’s physical fitness and endurance are evaluated for the post of Haryana Police Constable.

Exam Pattern for Knowledge Test

After clearing PMT, and PST, candidates qualify for an offline exam i.e. Knowledge Test. The Haryana Police Constable Exam 2024 consists of a total of 100 questions for a total of 94.5 marks.

• Questions will be asked in bilingual languages i.e. English & Hindi.
• There is no negative marking for a wrong answer, however, if the candidate does not mark any answer 0.945 marks will be deducted for that particular question.
• Candidates will be allotted a total of 105 minutes to attempt the Haryana Police Constable OMR-based exam.
• For every correct answer, +0.945 marks will be rewarded.
• There will only be objective-type/multiple-choice questions.

Note:- Candidates having NCC certificates of A, B, or C level shall get 01, 02, and 03 marks respectively.

Minimum Qualifying Marks for Knowledge Test

To pass the knowledge test for Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 2024, it is important to score at least 50% of the total marks by the candidates belonging to general categories. For those belonging to reserved categories, 40% are the minimum qualifying marks for the Haryana Police Constable Exam 2024.

Haryana Police Constable Salary 2024

As soon as the candidate passes all the stages of Haryana Police Constable Vacancy 2024, he/she gets hired for the Constable post. So these hired candidates are termed as the employees of Haryana Police Department. The Haryana Staff Selection Commission is responsible for paying the monthly salary to these employees. So, Haryana Police Constable employees receive a monthly pay of Rs. 21,700/- as per Pay Level 3 of the pay matrix.
