CSIR NET Result 2025, Scorecard and Result Link

The CSIR NET exam has been successfully conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The candidates can expect the CSIR NET Result 2025 by the 2nd week of April 2025 at the CSIR NET’s official website, www.nta.ac.in. Those who have appeared for the CSIR UGC National Eligibility Test must be waiting for the results now. CSIR NET Result 2025

With the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test (CSIR NET) exam, the eligibility of the candidates will be tested for hiring them as assistant professors or for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). The CSIR NET exam is conducted twice a year through online mode only. The NTA has decided some minimum qualifying marks for the CSIR NET exam 2025. The General, EWS and OBC category candidates need to score a minimum of 33%marks while SC/ST and PWD need 25% marks to pass the exam.

There are no seats specified for the number of candidates that will be selected, but the ones who score higher will be given JRF, and those who score less will be eligible to become assistant professors in different colleges and universities in India.

There is only one exam, and the final merit list will be released on the basis of this objective-type test only. NTA will publish two separate merit lists, one for assistant professor and another for JRF.

What After CSIR NET Result 2025?

Once the CSIR NET Result 2025 has been declared and the candidates have checked their status, whether they are eligible for the JRF or they have to join some college as an assistant professor, they must start looking for colleges accordingly. You can also try for a public sector job in a related field, like in the PSUs. Eg., Indian Oil, ONGC, or Hindustan Petroleum as per the scores and other qualifications.
