The National Testing Agency released the detailed CSIR NET Notification pdf on the official website of CSIR NTA. The NTA CSIR NET exam is conducted two times in a year for the Junior Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship/ Assistant Professor positions in renowned universities and colleges across India every year. Candidates who have a Master’s Degree/Post-Graduation in the Science stream are eligible to apply for the CSIR NET Exam.

CSIR NET Exam Date 2024 Out

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the CSIR NET new exam date. The CSIR-UGC NET Exam 2024 will be held from 25 to 27 July 2024. The exam will be held in computer-based mode at various exam centre across the country. Details information regarding the exam will be released along with admit card.

CSIR NET Notification 2024

The detailed CSIR NET June 2024 Notification has been released officially by the National Testing Agency including the necessary details like the application process dates, exam dates, and other important details have been announced. The CSIR NET 2024 Notification is now available on the official website of CSIR UGC NET at https://csirnet.nta.ac.in/ and NTA at https://nta.ac.in/. CSIR NET 2024 Application Form

The CSIR UGC NET June 2024 application form is now available on the official website of https://csirnet.nta.ac.in/ and the application will remain active till 21st May 2024 (11:50 pm). Candidates can also submit their application form with a late fee until 23rd May 2024 (11:59 p.m.). The application form has to be filled out by candidates in two parts – Registration and Application. Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria to fill out their CSIR NET 2024 Application Form.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must know the minimum required education qualification and age limit to apply for the CSIR UGC NET 2024 Exam as discussed below.

Education Qualification

The candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree, regardless of whether science, engineering or some other discipline and are eligible for the fellowship solely after getting enlisted/enrolled for a PhD or Integrated PhD program within the legitimacy time of two years. Candidates must also be enrolled for M.Sc. or have completed 10+2+3 years of the above qualifying exam are also eligible to apply in the above subject under the category ‘Result Awaited (RA).

Age Limit

As on 1st June 2024, the candidates must not exceed the upper age limit of 30 years for filling application form for JRF, while there is no upper age limit for Assistant Professor and admission to PhD.

Application Fee

This year, NTA has revised the application fee for EWS/OBC – Non-creamy layer and SC/ST/Third Gender category for Rs. 325/-. The application fee for General candidates remains the same i.e. Rs. 1100/-. The fee is to be paid online before final submission of the application form and the fee once paid will not be refunded.

Steps to apply online for CSIR NET 2024

Candidates can apply for CSIR NET 2024 online through the official website https://csirnet.nta.ac.in. Candidates are advised to read the instructions, procedure, and Information Bulletin carefully before starting to fill out the application form.

Step 1: Visit the official website of CSIR NET which is csir.net.nta.ac.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the Joint CSIR UGC NET – June 2024 – Click on Registration/ Login

Step 3: Register for the Online Application Form and enter the required details. An Application Number and create a password.

Step 4: Enter the Application Number and pre-created Password for completing the Application form, including filling out personal details, applying for the Paper, and entering details regarding educational qualifications.

Step 5: Upload Scanned Images of the Candidate’s photograph, signature, category certificate /PWD Certificate, and result awaiting certificate (wherever applicable.

Step 6: Pay the Examination fee online by using Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI.

Step 7: Download and take a printout of the CSIR NET June 2024 application forms for future records.

CSIR NET 2024 Exam Date

The Joint CSIR UGC NET is a test conducted to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals to apply for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor positions, and admission to Ph.D. programs in Indian universities and colleges.
