2. On the homepage click on the link that reads “Recruitment of Technical Assistants and Technicians (Advt. 01/2024) Apply online”.
3. Candidates have to register with a valid Email Address by clicking on the “New Registration” button on the left side panel.
4. Upon successful registration, candidates may open the Recruitment portal with the Registration ID and the Password to fill out the online application form.

CSIR CECRI Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The candidate’s eligibility for CSIR CECRI Recruitment 2024 will be determined in terms of educational qualification and age limit. Candidate should ensure that he/she possesses essential educational qualification/experience in the relevant area as required in the category/post, for which he/she is applying.

Educational Qualification

Technical Assistant Posts – B.Sc. or equivalent, with minimum 60% marks/  Diploma with a minimum 60% marks and experience of two years in the relevant area/field.

For Technician Post 

• SSC/10th standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and ITI certificate or National/ State Trade Certificate in relevant trade. (OR)
• SSC/10th standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and 2 years full-time experience as an apprentice trainee from a recognized Institution in relevant trade. (OR)
• SSC/10th standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and 3 years of work experience in the relevant trade in a Ministry / Department / Organisation / Public Sector Undertaking / Autonomous Body under the Government of India / State / UT.

Age Limit (as on 06/12/2024)

The applicant should have completed the age of 18 years and should not be aged above 28 years as on the last date for receipt of the online application.

Age Relaxation – The upper age relaxation for the reserved category will be provided as per govt. rules.

CSIR CECRI Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

The selection of candiadtes for Technical Assistant and Technician posts is based on the Skill/Trade test and Competitive Written Examination. Candidates who qualify for the Skill/Trade test will be called for a competitive written examination in Paper I (Mental Ability Test), Paper II (General Awareness, English Language), and Paper III (concerned subject). The final merit list of candidates will be prepared based on the performance of the candidates in Paper II & Paper III.

• Stage I (Trade/Skill Test)

CSIR CECRI Exam Pattern 2024

• The CSIR CECRI Competitive Written Examination will consist of an Objective Type Multiple choice examination.
• The level of exam for Technical Assistant Posts posts is Diploma/Graduation Level and for Technician posts exam level is SSC+ITI /XIIth Standard.
• The questions will be set both in English and Hindi except the questions on English Language.
• Paper II and Paper III will be evaluated only for those candidates who secure the minimum marks in Paper I.

CSIR CECRI Salary 2024

The candidates appointed for Technical Assistant and Technician posts will be paid a monthly salary. Along with salary candiadtes will be provided various perks and allowances like Dearness Allowance (DA) and House Rent Allowance (HRA) etc.
