The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) has announced the result and scorecard of the written exam conducted for the post of Coast Guard General Duty (GD), Domestic Branch (DB), and Navik posts on 28th May 2024. Coast Guard Result 2024 Out

The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) has successfully conducted the Computer-Based Examination to recruit 260 vacancies for Coast Guard General Duty (GD), Domestic Branch (DB), and Navik posts. Candidates need their login details i.e. Email ID and Password to check their qualifying status in the exam.

Based on the candidate’s performance in the Computer Examination candidates are declared qualified in the CBT exam and shortlisted for the stage II exam i.e. Assessment/Adaptability Test. The selection process will be based on CBT, Assessment/Adaptability Test Physical Fitness Test, Document Verification & Medical Examination, and Final Document Verification.

Steps to Check Indian Coast Guard Result 2024

Candidates can check their Indian Coast Guard Results by visiting the official website of the Indian Coast Guard (ICG). Here we have shared the step-by-step process to check and download results.

1. Visit the official website Indian Coast Guard (ICG) at https://joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in/cgept/.

2.  Under the News / Announcements on the home page click on the link that reads “CGEPT-02/2024 Stage-I has been declared. Kindly login in your login ID to check your result”.

3. A new login page appears on the screen.

4. Enter log details such as Email ID, Password, and Captcha Code, and click on the submit button.

5. Coast Guard Result 2024 for the CGEPT-02/2024 batch appears on the screen.

6. Download and save ICG CGEPT 2024 for future records.

What next after the ICG CGEPT 2024

Candidates declared qualified in the CBT exam are called to appear for the stage 2 exam which is qualifying in nature and will be held for 1 or 2 days at the allocated center. The Stage II exam involves the following examination.

1. Assessment/Adaptability Test – In the Adaptability Test, candidates have to undergo an OMR-based written examination. The results will be announced within an hour of the examination. Qualified candidates in this test will proceed to the next phase of the examination, which is the PFT.
2. Physical Fitness Test – In the Physical Fitness test candidates have to complete the following task.
   consists of:-
   1. 1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes
   2. 20 Squat ups (Uthak Baithak)
   3. 10 Push-up
3. Document Verification – In the document verification process candidates have to produce the original documents as submitted during the application forms for verification purposes. Providing incorrect documents will lead to failure in document verification and the candidature will be canceled.
4. Recruitment Medical Examination – Candidates’ medical fitness as per laid down medical standards will be tested under the Medical Officer in the medical exam.
