The Combined Defence Service Examination (CDS) (II) 2024 exam is going to take place on 1st September 2024 (Sunday) at various allotted exam centres throughout the country. Candidates registered for the CDS 2 exam for 459 vacancies are waiting for the release of the admit card which can be accessed through the official website of UPSC www.upsc.gov.in. The CDS 2 Admit Card 2024 will be released in 03 week of August 2024 along with all exam-related information including exam date, timing, venue etc. The admit card link will be shared here once released by officials.

CDS 2 Admit Card 2024

The Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS) is a national-level exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to shortlist eligible candidates for the Interview round for various posts in the Indian Air Force, Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Officer’s Training Academy. The final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in written tests, interviews and medical reports. The selected candidates undergo rigorous training to be recruited as Lieutenant in the Indian Armed Forces. UPSC CDS Admit Card 2024

The UPSC Combined Defence Service Examination (II) 2024 Exam will be conducted in offline mode at various exam centres across the country. The exam will be held in 03 shifts. The first shift from 09:00 am to 11:00 am (English Paper), the second shift for general knowledge paper from 12:00 noon to 02:00 pm and the elementary mathematics paper will be from 03:00 pm to 05:00 pm. You have to arrive at the venue at least 30 minutes before the start of the exam in each session carrying a hard copy of your CDS 2 Admit Card 2024.

UPSC CDS Admit Card is a mandatory document to be carried out to the exam hall to attend the exam. How to Download CDS 2 Admit Card 2024?

To download the CDS 2 Admit Card 2024 for Combined Defence Services Examination- II (CDS-2) 2024 from the official website you must follow the steps discussed here.

1. Browse the official website of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) www.upsc.gov.in on your internet browser.
2. Click on the ‘Admit Cards’ link that appears on the right side of the homepage.
3. Click on E-Admit Cards for various examinations of UPSC.
4. Now click on e-Admit Card, Download displayed in front of “Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2024”.
5. A new page opens, again click on “Click Here”.
6. An instruction pdf opens, take a printout of the pdf as it is mandatory.
7. Now click ‘By Registration ID’ or ‘By Roll Number’.
8. Enter the details required i.e. Registration Number/ Roll Number and Date of Birth, captcha and click on ‘Submit’.
9. Your UPSC Combined Defence Service (CDS-2) Admit Card appears on the screen, download and take a printout of the same.

Documents Required to Carry for CDS 2 Exam

You must carry an original photo identity proof to the exam centre on the date of the exam along with the original identity proof issued by government authorities. You should keep a black ballpen to carry to the exam hall.

Important Instruction

You are advised to download their Hall Tickets well in advance and carefully read the Guidelines and Instructions provided. It is recommended that they verify the location of their designated test centre beforehand, to arrive at the venue on time on the day of the examination.

• You must enter the examination venue at least 30 minutes before the start of the examination in each session. After the entry is closed, you will not be permitted to enter the examination venue.
• Always remember to keep extra copies of the admit card with you to avoid any discrepancy on the date of the examination.
• You are required to bring a printed copy of your e-Admit Card to the designated venue to take the exam. If you fail to produce your e-Admit Card for verification at the venue, you will not be permitted to take the exam.
• You must carry an original photo identity proof i.e. Aadhar Card/ Original Photo Identity Proof, and carry a black ball pen.
• In case the photograph on the e-admit Card is not visible or available, you should carry three identical photographs, one for each session.
• You are not to bring Mobile / Cell Phones, Tablets, Laptops, or Electronic Gadgets and expensive items to the examination hall.
• You must bring a black ballpoint pen to the Examination Hall to take the examination.
• You must keep your CDS 2 2024 admit card safe until the entire selection process for CDS is completed.
• Read and understand all the instructions mentioned on the admit card carefully.
