The CDS Exam is a national-level exam held twice a year to select candidates for the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA), and Officers’ Training Academy (OTA) for FY 2025-26. exam. Candidates must download the CDS 1 Admit Card 2025 from the official website of UPSC, www.upsc.gov.in, to appear in the exam. Candidates are required to provide either their registration number or roll number to download their admit card.

The Combined Defence Service Examination (I) 2025 will be held on 13th April 2025 (Sunday) in offline mode at various exam centres throughout the country. The exam will be held in 3 sessions, from 9 am to 11 am, 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm and 4 pm to 6 pm.

CDS 1 Admit Card 2025 Out

The UPSC CDS 1 Admit Card 2025 notifies the candidates of their respective exam dates, shift timings, reporting time, exam venue, etc. Candidates must bring their admit card and an original photo ID to each session of the exam in order to enter the examination hall. Steps to Download CDS Admit Card 2025

Follow the below step-by-step process to successfully download the admit card for the CDS 1 exam.

• Go to the official website of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) at https://upsconline.nic.in/.
• Under the What’s New section on the homepage, click on the link with the text reading “e-Admit Cards: UPSC Combined Defence Service Examination (I), 2025”.
• Click login details of either of the two options- By Registration Number’ or ‘By Roll Number.

• Enter the registration number/roll number (as per the option selected) along with the date of birth.
• Fill in the captcha code and click on the ‘submit’ tab.
• The CDA Admit Card 2025 for the CDS 1 exam appears on the system screen.
• Download and take a printout of the admit card to carry to the exam hall.

Note: After downloading the UPSC CDS Admit Card 2025, candidates must ensure all details are correct. In case of any discrepancy, contact the exam authority to resolve it.

Documents Required to Carry for CDS 1 Exam 2025

Candidates appearing for the CDS 1 Exam 2025 must ensure that they carry important documents with them in addition to their admit cards to the exam hall on the date of the examination.

• A printcopy of CDS 1 Admit Card 2025
• Original Photo identity proof such as an Adhaar card/ Passport/ PAN Card/ Driving Licence/ Voter ID card
• Passport-size photograph
• Blue or Black ballpoint pen

Important Instructions

Candidates who are going to appear for the upcoming UPSC CDS examination must note some important instructions that are to be followed by them on the examination day.

• Candidates must report at the examination centre about the reporting timing. After reporting timing candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall in any circumstance.
• The UPSC CDS 1 Admit Card 2025 is a mandatory document to attend the exam.
• Along with the admit card candidates must ensure to carry an original photo identity proof to the exam hall.
• Candidates can use blue/black pens to write their answers on the answer sheets provided to them.
