The selection of candidates for Calcutta High Court Lower Division Assistant Recruitment 2024 is based on a three-phase selection process: preliminary screening test, competitive written test, and viva voce test.
- Phase I:- The first phase of the selection process for LDA posts is a preliminary screening test which is to be conducted for a total of 100 marks. Candidates are required to score minimum qualifying marks to move to the next stage of the recruitment process.
- Phase II:- Shortlisted candidates will appear for a competitive written test for a total of 300 marks. Category-wise merit list will be prepared for the selection of candidates for the next stage.
- Phase III:- The third and final stage of the selection process for Calcutta High Court LDA Recruitment 2024 is a viva voce test. The candidates shortlisted in Phase II will have to appear for this test for 100 marks.

Competitive Written Test
The competitive written test will be conducted for 3 hours, candidates will need to attempt to test for a total of 300 marks. The subject-wise qualifying marks in Phase II are 40% and in aggregate 50%.

Calcutta High Court LDA Salary 2024
Once the candidate passes all the phases of the Calcutta High Court Recruitment 2024 process, he/she is appointed as a Lower Division Assistant there. After being the employee, he/she receives a monthly pay scale ranging from Rs. 22,700/- to Rs. 58,500/- and the minimum/initial pay is Rs. 24,100/-. Not just this, LDA employees also receive some additional perks and allowances as a part of their salary structure such as dearness allowance, house rental allowance, etc.
