BPSC AE Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

The selection process for the post of Assistant Engineer (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) is based on the total marks obtained by candidates in the written competitive examination (objective type). Candidates with experience as Assistant Engineers (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) on a contract basis who meet the eligibility criteria for recruitment in this category will receive additional marks for selection preference.

BPSC Assistant Engineer Exam Pattern 2025

• The written exam will consist of six papers. 4 papers will be compulsory and 02 papers will be optional.
• The papers of General English and General Hindi will be only qualifying, and candidates have to score a minimum of 30 marks in each to qualify for the exam.
• The time duration for each paper is 1 hour.
