Educational Qualifications

As mentioned earlier, fulfilling educational qualifications is important to become eligible for Executive Assistant/Clerk posts under BMC Recruitment 2024. If the candidate fulfills any of the below-mentioned qualifications, then he/she is eligible for the released vacancies.

•  Candidates who have done and passed the secondary school examination from a recognized board are eligible for BMC Clerk posts.
• Those who have done their graduation in any discipline from a recognized university/institution with at least 45% marks on the first attempt are also eligible for BMC Executive Assistant Recruitment 2024.

BMC Clerk Selection Process 2024

Selection of eligible candidates for Clerk/Executive Assistant posts for Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation involves a two-stage selection process that involves an online test followed by merit list preparation.

1. Online Test:- Initially, candidates have to appear for an online examination of 200 marks including multiple-choice questions.
2. Merit List:- The final selection of candidates is based on the preparation of a common merit list formed based on the marks scored by candidates in the online examination.

BMC Recruitment 2024 Exam Pattern

The online test for BMC Clerk Recruitment 2024 will be held as a computer-based test including 100 multiple-choice questions. The detailed exam pattern for BMC Clerk Exam 2024 is discussed below.

• The online test will be conducted for a total of 200 marks including questions from diverse sections.
• Questions from all the sections will be asked in the Marathi language except for the English Language section which will be in English.
• For every correct answer, +2 will be rewarded to the candidates.
• The minimum qualifying mark for the BMC online test is 45%.

BMC Clerk Salary 2024

After passing the BMC Clerk online test, shortlisted candidates will be appointed as Clerk/Executive Assistant in Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation. So, these candidates become employees of the corporation and are entitled to receive a monthly salary.  The monthly pay scale of BMC Clerk/Executive Assistant employees is Rs. 25, 500/- to Rs. 81, 100/- as per the level M-15.
