The selection process involves an online screening test followed by an interview and a teaching skills and computer proficiency test.

1. Online Screening Test (OST):- Candidates’ selection for TGT posts is based on an online screening test consisting of multiple-choice questions for 200 marks. OST will take place at all Army Public Schools for 3 hours.
2. Interview:- It is not mandatory to appear for the online screening test to appear for the AWES Army Public School Interview 2024. The interview round will be conducted by the Central & Local Selection Boards i.e. CSB, and LSB.
3. Teaching Skills & Computer Proficiency (Only for Language Teacher):- A written test including essays and comprehension will be conducted for a total of 15 marks to evaluate the teaching skills of the candidate. Also, a computer test is conducted to determine a candidate’s computer proficiency.
