Eligibility Criteria for Assam PSC Assistant Civil Engineer
To apply for the AE Civil Engineer under APSC Recruitment 2025 must read the following educational and age criteria. Those who do not meet these criteria will be disqualified at any stage of the recruitment process-
- Educational Qualifications– Completed B.E/ B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering Discipline or OR, must have passed AMIE (India) Part A & B in Civil Engineering, if enrolled on or before 31-05-2013
- Age Criteria (as on 1/1/2025)– Candidates must be between 21 to 38 years of age.

Candidates can follow these steps to apply for the Assam PSC Assistant Engineer-

- New users must first register by clicking on the ‘Register Here’ link and complete the One Time Registration (OTR) by filling the required details
- Use a valid and active email ID for registration. After registering, log in using your credentials.
- Fill in OTR details like: Personal info, Education & work experience, and upload a recent photo & signature.
- Upload the required documents (e.g., DOB, degree, experience) as PDF files (Max size: 2 MB, scan in 200 dpi grey scale).

The Exam pattern for the Assistant Engineer consists of two papers – Paper I and Paper II.

APSC Assistant Civil Engineer Salary
The selected candidates will get a monthly salary as per the Assam State Government pay rules. The pay scale is Rs. 30000 to Rs. 110000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 12700, under Pay Band-4. In addition to this, they will get the extra allowances as per the pay commission.
