APSC Junior Engineer Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who are planning to apply for the post of junior engineer must first fulfil the eligibility criteria. There are some certain criteria for the candidates such as nationality, age, educational qualification etc.

Nationality:-

• The candidate must be a citizen of India or a permanent citizen of Assam.

Age Limit:-

APSC Junior Engineer Application Fee 2025

The candidates who want to apply for the Assam JE post must know the application fee for the submission of their application. APSC will charge the processing fee of Rs. 40 + 18% Tax= RS. 47.20 from each candidate. The Application fee will be different for all categories.

APSC JE Selection Process 2025

Assam Public Service Commission has started the recruitment process through applying online. Candiate who are eligible for this position. The selection process for the Assam Junior Engineer is divided into three stages: Written Exam, Interview Test and Document Verification. Candidates firstly have to appear for the written test, and if they qualify for the test, they proceed to the next stage. APSC JE Exam Pattern 2025

The Assam Junior Engineer written exam consists of 2 papers: 1. Civil Engineering and 2. General Studies & General English. Both papers will carry 100 multiple-choice questions, and candidates have 2 hours for each paper to complete. Candidates will get 1 mark for every right answer and deduction of 0.25 mark with every wrong answer.

APSC JE Salary Structure 2025

The selected candidates for the position of Junior Engineer will get a basic salary of Rs. 35,400 per month with a grade pay of Rs. 8700, and the Assam Public Service Commission offers a pay scale of Rs. 14,000 to Rs. 70,000 to selected candidates. Apart from salary, selected candidates get other benefits such as Dearness allowance, House Rent Allowance, and Transport Allowance. Also, there are some mandatory deductions like NPS and Tax deductions.
