APSC Notification 2025 Out for 262 Vacancies, Apply From 28 March

Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has invited online applications for graduate candidates who are willing to appear for APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2025 (APSC CCE 2025). This year, 262 vacancies have been announced for various state-level posts. The complete details have been released online at the official website through the official APSC CCE Notification 2025 pdf. The window to submit online applications will be opened from 28th March 2025 (12 noon) onwards at www.apsc.nic.in. APSC Prelims Combined Competitive Examination 2025 is scheduled for 1st June 2025 (Sunday).

Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) is held responsible for conducting a Combined Competitive Examination to recruit eligible graduate candidates for various state-level posts. The below table depicts the overview details of the APSC CCE 2025 Exam.

APSC CCE 2025- Important Dates

Along with the release of the APSC Notification 2025 PDF, the commission has also notified all important dates related to the registration process and prelim exam date. The main exam is tentatively scheduled for August /September 2025. The link for submitting APSC CCE Application Form 2025 will be activated on 28th March 2025 (12 noon). Further, the complete schedule is tabulated below as notified by the officials.

APSC CCE 2025 Vacancy

This year, the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has announced 262 vacant posts for Assam Civil Service (Jr. Grade), Block Development Officer (BDO), Assam Finance Service (Junior Grade II), Inspector of Taxes, Inspector of Excise, Assistant Employment Officer, and various other posts. Out of the total vacancies, 51 vacant posts are reserved for women candidates.

APSC Application Form 2025

Candidates will apply for the Combined Competetive Examination by visiting the official website, www.apsc.nic.in. The registration process will start from 28th March 2025 and the last date to apply for the exam is 29th April 2025 (5 pm). We will share the direct link once it is officially released by the commission.

APSC CCE Application Fee 2025

The application fee for various categories is as follows: For General/EWS candidates, the fee is Rs. 297.20. SC/ST candidates are required to pay Rs. 197.20. For other categories the fee is tabulated below.

Steps to Apply for the APSC CCE 2025 Exam

Candidates who want to apply for the APSC CCE Exam must follow these steps-

1. Visit the official website of the Assam Public Service Commission.
2. On the home page. click on the link “Online Recruitment Portal”
3. After clicking, scroll down the page and click on the Register Tab to start the registration process
4. Enter your personal details, name, mobile, email, and other required details.
5. After filling out these details, click to generate a One-time Password (OTP).
6. Enter the OTP and complete the registration process.
7. When your registration is completed, you can log in to the portal using your email and password.
8. Now fill in all the details such as, educational. personal and upload the required documents.
9. Pay the application fees and save your application for future use.

APSC Eligibility Criteria 2025

Applicants should thoroughly check the eligibility requirements to ensure they are eligible to apply for the APSC CCE Exam 2025 which include age limits, nationality, and education qualification. APSC CCE has certain criteria for the candidates such as, they must have nationality of India, graduation degree holders, and being between the ages of 21 to 38 years.  Age relaxation is as per government norms for SC/ST candidates a relaxation of 5 years is given, OBC/MOBC candidates are allowed a 3-year relaxation, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are granted a relaxation of 10 years.

APSC will conduct three stages of examinations to select candidates for various posts to be released this year.

1. Preliminary exam
2. Mains Exam
3. Interview

APSC CCE 2025 Exam Pattern

The APSC CCE Exam pattern for both Prelims and Mains is as follows.

Prelims

1. The prelims exam is an objective-type exam consisting of two papers; General Studies-I and General Studies-II
2. The duration of each paper is 2 hours
3. ¼ of the marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
4. The marks obtained in the prelims are not counted for final selection but are considered for shortlisting candidates for the mains exam.

Mains

1. The written exam will consist of 6 papers of conventional Essay/Objective Type.
2. Each paper will carry 250 marks
3. After clearing the written test, an interview will be held for 180 marks.
