Over 1.21 Crore Candidates to Appear for RRB NTPC Exam for 11558 Vacancies, Exam From 5 June

1.21 crore is an immense number, and unbelievably, 12167679 candidates have applied for the RRB NTPC 2025 Exam. Many may think that it would be challenging for the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) to conduct an online exam for such a large number of candidates. However, RRB is well-known for successfully managing exams each year. The number of vacant positions is very low in comparison to the applicants. With only 11,558 vacancies available, 1.21 crore candidates will be competing, which means that only 0.09% of the total applicants will be selected.

12167679 Candidates Applied for RRB NTPC Exam 2025

As per reports, a total of 12167679 candidates have applied for the RRB NTPC Exam, out of which 5840861 candidates applied for graduate-level posts, and 6326818 candidates applied for 12th-level posts. Till now, only the total number of applications received has been shared, and it is expected that the region-wise number of candidates will be released soon. RRB NTPC Exam Date 2025 for graduate-level candidates has been announced through an official notice on 13th May 2025. For selecting eligible candidates for 8113 vacancies for Graduate level posts under Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC), the exam will be held from 5th to 23rd June 2025.

The RRB NTPC 2025 examination will be conducted to recruit 12th pass candidates for various posts such as Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Clerk Cum Typist, Trains Clerk and graduate candidates for Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor, Station Master, Goods Train Manager, Junior Accountant Assistant cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist. These posts are important for the smooth functioning of the Indian Railways, one of the world’s largest state-connected network.
