Assam TET Exam Pattern 2024
Every exam is different in its own way and one key difference is usually seen in its exam pattern. Assam TET has its own Exam pattern which we are mentioning below. There are two exam patterns as mentioned in the notification. One is for Primary teacher Paper-I i.e. Class-1st to 5th and another for Class 6th to 8th.
Assam TET Exam Pattern 2024 for Lower Primary
Assam TET Paper-I is for people who intend to become primary class teachers.
- All 150 questions will be of MCQ type; each question will carry 1 mark, total marks will be 150.
- 150 Minutes for Paper-1 and 150 Minutes for Paper-2, an additional 20 minutes per hour will be there for Visually impaired candidates.
- A candidate is required to score 60% i.e. 90 marks out of 150 to qualify the Assam TET 2023. However, for SC/ST(Hills)/ ST(Plains)/OBC/MOBC/PWD(PH), there will be a relaxation of 5%. Thus, for these candidates, the qualifying marks will be 83 out of 150 marks.
- There will be “No Negative Marking”
- Medium of Questions will be- Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Hindi and English

Assam TET Exam Pattern 2024 for Upper Primary
Assam TET Paper-II is for the person who intends to be a teacher for Upper Primary level 9 (Classes VI to VIII)

Assam TET Syllabus for Lower Primary
Assam Teacher Eligibility Test for Lower Primary Teacher post comprises the topics from Assam TET Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I, English, Maths, EVS. In the Lower Primary / Paper 1 exam a total of 150 questions will be asked for a total of 150 marks. In AP TET Exam tehrer is no negative marking.
