Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) is a state-level exam held twice a year providing opportunities to lakhs of candidates who are looking forward to beginning their careers in the teaching sector in the state. AP TET Exam Pattern 2025
In the below section, the applicants will be able to get the complete information about the AP TET 2025 Exam Pattern for the entrance exam such as the exam mode, exam duration, exam language, total questions, total marks, marking scheme, negative markings, and many more.
- The APTET exam will be organized in online mode as a Computer Based Test
- The duration of the AP TET Exam is 2.5 hours (150 minutes).
- The applicant will have to appear for the AP TET exam in the English language and language chosen from Kannada, Tamil, Odia, Hindi, Telugu, Urdu
- The question paper of the AP TET exam will contain a total of 150 questions for the applicants to answer.
- The applicant will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer given
- No provision for negative markings in the entrance exam.

The AP TET Paper 1 syllabus is almost the same for Part A and Part B. The only small difference is in the Child Development and Pedagogy section. Part A is for regular school teachers, while Part B is for Special Education teachers.

The AP TET Paper 2 syllabus for Child Development and Pedagogy is split into two parts: Part A and Part B.
