CUET (Common University Entrance Test) is a national-level entrance exam conducted every year by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to enroll students into various UG programs offered at all central universities including DU, JNU, JMI, EFLU, and the University of Allahabad. The National Testing Agency has released the complete exam schedule for the CUET 2024 Exams. The Common University Entrance Test (CUET 2024) will be conducted from 15th to 24th May 2024 in about 13 Languages in 380 cities including 26 cities outside India. Students aiming to study undergraduate programs in central universities have to appear in the CUET which is now mandatory.

National Testing Agency has newly launched the portal for CUET UG 2024. All the candidates preparing to appear in the CUET 2024 Exam need to register at the new portal https://cuetug.ntaonline.in/. NTA released the CUET UG 2024 Information Bulletin with the Application Form at the official website https://exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/. CUET 2024 provides a single-window opportunity for students to seek admission in any of the Central Universities (CUs) across the country Central Universities Entrance Test. CUET UG 2024 Exam

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the CUET UG 2024 in hybrid mode (Computer-based test/ Pen & Paper mode). This year, CUET shall be a qualifying exam for admission to around 250 participating universities from across the country. Last year, 14.9 Lakhs registrations were made on the NTA CUET official website. For the year 2024, the estimated number of CUET 2024 registrations will be increased. CUET UG 2024 Dates

The complete schedule for the CUET 2024 Exam has been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) along with the CUET 2024 Notification. All important dates related to the CUET 2024 UG exam are given below.

CUET UG Admit Card 2024

The National Testing Agency is expected to release the CUET UG Admit Card 2024 by the first week of May 2024 in online mode. Once the admit cards are released students will be able to download them by visiting the official website of the NTA i.e., The CUET UG Admit card is an essential document for students appearing in the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate courses. The admit card contains vital information like the candidate's name, roll number, exam center details, and exam timing. Once the admit cards are downloaded students must carefully check all the details mentioned on them, so that there is no confusion on the examination day. 

CUET UG Exam City Slip 2024

The National Testing Agency will issue the CUET UG 2024 City Intimation slip on April 30, 2024. Candidates will be able to check and download the CUET UG 2024 city intimation slip in online mode by visiting the official website www.cuetug.ntaonline.in. Candidates will be required to fill in all their essential login credentials to download the CUET UG city intimation slip 2024. On downloading the CUET 2024 City intimation slip candidates will be able to check their respective exam centers.

CUET UG 2024 Notification

The Official CUET UG 2024 Notification is finally out by the National Testing Agency on the website https://exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/. The Notification states the candidates are invited them to fill out the online application forms for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2024). As per the CUET UG 2024 Notification, the online CUET UG 2024 application portal is now closed, students can register till April 10, 2024 up to 10:50 pm. CUET UG 2024 Registration

The National Testing Agency has begun the CUET 2024 registration process for the UG courses. The CUET 2024 Registration process was conducted at the official website https://exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/. The Last date for CUET UG 2024 Registration extended was April 10, 2024. The candidates are advised to fill in their CUET UG 2024 application forms before the last date. The CUET application form 2024 process comprises steps including registration, application, image upload, and payment. The candidates looking forward to admission to undergraduate programs at several centrally-funded universities must submit online applications at the official website https://exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/.

CUET UG 2024 Registration Fee

CUET 2024 Registration Fee can be paid by online mode through Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI Processing charges. Candidates have to pay the application fee online mode. Steps for CUET UG Registration 2024

The candidates have to fill out the CUET Registration Form 2024 to get registered for the Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET). Follow the below steps to fill CUET 2024 Registration Form.

Step 1 - Visit the official website of the CUET to fill out CUET Registration Form 2024 - https://exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/.

Step 2 - Click on the ‘Apply Online’ tab to register for the programme.

Step 3 - After clicking, candidates will be able to see three programmes options- UG, PG, and RP. Click on the link you wish to apply for.

Step 4 - Complete the registration process by entering details like the program applied for, name, valid email ID, mobile number, date of birth, and verification code displayed on the screen.

Step 5 - Once all details are submitted, the application number and password are generated and are sent to the registered email address and mobile number.

Step 6 - Use the application number and password to log in and fill up the application form by entering the login details like personal, academic qualification, and communication address.

Step 7 - Upload scanned images of a recent passport-sized photograph and signature in the prescribed format and dimensions.

Step 8 - Select the examination centres- In order of preference, select and enter the exam centres.

Step 9 - On successful online application submission with payment of fees through an automated e-mail and SMS is sent to the registered e-mail ID and mobile number.

Documents Required for CUET UG 2024 Registration

The students appearing for the upcoming CUET 2024 Examination need the following documents to fill in the CUET Application Form 2024.

CUET UG 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to appear for the CUET 2024 Exam can check the required eligibility criteria set by the National Testing Agency for admission to UG (undergraduate) Courses before they start filling out their application form.

• The students who cleared the class 12th/equivalent examination or are appearing in 2024 irrespective of their age can appear in the CUET 2024 exam.
• Candidates planning to appear in the CUET 2024 UG exam must have qualified for class 10+2 or going to sit for the 10+2 exam 2024.
• In order to be eligible for the CUET Entrance test the candidates are required to have an Indian citizenship.
• There is no age limit for CUET 2024 Entrance exam.

CUET Educational Qualification

• Candidates who have passed the class 12 /equivalent examination or are appearing in 2024 irrespective of their age can appear in the CUET (UG) - 2024 examination. However, the candidates will be required to fulfill the age criteria (if any) of the University / Institution / Organization in which they are desirous of taking admission.
• The student must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in class 12th for General category candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates.

CUET UG 2024 Exam Pattern

NTA conducts the CUET Exam in 13 languages ( Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Odiya, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, English, Hindi, and Urdu). Check the revised CUET Exam Pattern 2024 from here.

1. CUET 2024 will be conducted in online mode this year, earlier, the exam was offline. 

2. CUET (UG) – 2024 will consist of the following 4 sections namely-

➢ Section IA – 13 Languages

➢ Section IB – 20 Languages

➢ Section II – 27 Domain-specific Subjects

➢ Section III – General Test

3. The question paper will be MCQ type only and there will be a total of 175 questions out of which 140 questions are to be attempted.

4. A Candidate can choose a maximum of any 3 languages from Section IA and Section IB together.

5. Section II consists of 27 Subjects, out of which a candidate may choose a maximum of 6 Subjects.

Note: *Each test paper will last 45 minutes except for the Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, Accountancy, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Computer Science/Informatics Practices, and General Tests, which will last 60 minutes.
